Chantel is the award-winning CEO and co-founder of Bluegum Electrical Solutions. She built the business from the ground up with her husband Josh in 2014, and now leads a 20-strong team from Sunbury. Bluegum has won REC Residential Installation of the Year, the Macedon Ranges Business Excellence Awards, and the Hume Business Excellence Awards. Chantel features on Channel 9's Renovate or Rebuild, has trained Volvo and Toyota teams on selling and charging EVs, and speaks regularly at the Macedon Ranges Sustainability Group.

She lives the all-electric life she teaches. Her own Gisborne home runs 100% self-sufficiently, with an EV, three young kids, and a fish tank that uses a bucket-load of power. The household bill is still under $1 a day, and along the way she has helped over 900 local families access more than $3.8M in government rebates.

Together, those 900+ customers have installed enough solar and battery storage to cover the annual electricity use of around 1,500 average homes.
